Coach Kathleen McLean

Kathleen McLean started swimming for NoVa Synchro when the team was first founded in 2004. She swam for seven years. As a member of NVS, Kathleen had the opportunities to compete both nationally and internationally. During her freshman year of college, Coach Kathleen started coaching for NVS during breaks and continued through her senior year. She graduated last May and is now back in Arlington. She continues to swim and compete with the DC Synchromasters. Kathleen is excited to coach for the team that gave her such an amazing experience.

Coach Kathleen at the 2016 USA Synchro MastersNoVa Synchro, an Arlington County youth synchronized swimming team, won gold at the Senior Association Championship and 13-15 Invitational in Laurel on Jan. 17.Courtney Gistaro finished first in the 13-15 solo competition. Polina Tamarina, Kathleen McLean and Sofie Ravesteijn won GOLD in the senior trio division.
